Why we built it
We built the billing software we wanted to use ourselves
We have been in the hosting business since 2008. For most of that time, our billing ran on software we could neither read nor change, its price rose every time we passed another client limit, and every update meant late-night testing and hoping nothing broke.
In 2026, we started Ottsa to build the platform we wanted to run ourselves. It installs on standard shared hosting from the browser, without SSH, Composer or Docker. Its code is not encoded, so you can read every line. Updates are signed and install in one click, and a single price covers every feature, however many clients you have.
We are a small team of four in Bucharest, Romania, and we run Ottsa for our own customers on my.ottsa.com.

Every feature in one license
Every license includes every feature, with unlimited clients, staff, services and domains. We never take a share of your payments.

Your data stays yours
Ottsa runs on your server, so your clients' data never reaches us. You can export any admin table as CSV or access your data through the API.

It runs on the hosting you already have
It needs PHP 8.4.1 or later, MySQL 8 or MariaDB 10.6+, and a single cron job or a web-based cron service. Upload it, install it from your browser and update it in one click.

Switching is part of the product
The WHMCS importer is included with every license, and its dry run shows what it will import before anything changes.

Open about releases and uptime
Every release is documented in our changelog, and the status of our services, such as license checks and updates, is published on our status page.
